Former State Senator Jason Carter Endorses Sarah Riggs Amico For Lieutenant Governor

(Atlanta, Georgia) — With the primaries just around the corner (May 2018), Jason Carter, Former
Georgia State Senator (D), has officially endorsed businesswoman, Sarah Riggs Amico (D), for
LT. Governor:

“If we have a Lt. Governor, who everyday wakes up and does the work that Sarah does and
would do, it will change our state no matter what. It will change our state, because this voice is
such a valuable one!”

Businesswoman Sarah Riggs Amico would be the first woman elected to Lieutenant Governor of
Georgia. Amico is the Executive Chairperson of Jack Cooper Holdings Corp., North America’s
largest car haul company and a certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise.

Amico was recently named the front runner in the Lt. Governor race by the AJC after filing over
$500,000 – the largest haul by any first time candidate. Amico has also established herself as the
candidate who can speak to bringing jobs to Georgia. Amico has taken her company from 120 to
over 3000 jobs and has sharply criticized the current Lt. Governor Casey Cagle for his handling
of Delta.
